Pecorino Toscano DOP a Pasta Tenera

Pecorino Toscano PDO with tender paste is presented for sale with a minimum maturation period of 20 days. The structure is very soft and elastic, the taste distinctly sweet with slightly acidulous notes. The rind is hand-treated with a double tomato puree and has a bright red colour. The “Pecorino Toscano” Protected Designation of Origin is reserved for cheese produced exclusively with whole sheep’s milk from the Tuscan region, as well as from some municipalities in Umbria and Lazio.
