Pecorino con Tartufo
Pecorino with truffle is by far the first born of the Le Delizie family, and still has an undisputed success on the national and international market. The presence of the black summer truffle (“Tuber aestivum Vittadini”) makes this cheese unique and prized, a true Italian excellence! The short maturing period gives this pecorino a pleasant and persistent aroma and an unmistakable flavour that satisfies even the most demanding palates. Its light and compact paste is speckled with the black truffle that is added to the curd immediately after breaking. The sweet and delicate taste of sheep’s milk blends perfectly with the intense and aromatic hints of the truffle, in a reciprocal exaltation of flavours and fragrances that amazes at every mouthful.
